Limit setting tools are available within a player’s account to allow the player to manage his or her gaming activity and play responsibly. Each option may be configured independently of the others. Players should carefully review and understand each limit before making a selection.
Important Information Regarding Time-Based Limits
There are options for self-limiting your exposure to play. Each option can be set independently of the others, so please review each carefully before selecting. Note: that setting a limit takes effect immediately.
Important Note: time-based limits accrue as follows:
Daily Limits: accrues up to midnight each day.
Weekly Limits: accrues up to Sunday at midnight Eastern Time.
Monthly Limits: accrues up to the last day of each month at midnight Eastern Time.
All Responsible Gaming options are available through the Responsible Gaming section located within the player account menu.
Deposit Limit
Players may self-limit the amount they are permitted to deposit on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Example:
If a player selects a monthly deposit limit of $100, the player will be unable to deposit more than $100 over the applicable calendar month period.
Session Limit
Players may self-limit the amount of time permitted for gameplay on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Example:
If a player selects a daily session limit of 60 minutes, once the cumulative total gameplay time reaches 60 minutes within the applicable period, the player will receive a notification and will be logged out of gameplay.
Spend Limit
Players may self-limit the total amount wagered on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Example:
If a player selects a monthly spend limit of $100 and wagers the full $100 during the applicable calendar month period, additional gameplay wagering will not be permitted until the next calendar month.
Loss Limit
Players may self-limit the amount of net loss incurred on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
Example:
If a player selects a monthly loss limit of $100 and reaches cumulative net losses of $100 during the applicable calendar month period, additional gameplay wagering will not be permitted until the next calendar month.
Understanding How Limits Interact
Players should understand that Responsible Gaming limits may overlap and apply simultaneously.
Example:
A player has configured:
- A monthly spend limit of $100; and
- A daily loss limit of $20.
If the player wins $300 following an initial $1 wager, the player would still only be permitted to wager up to $99 (the remaining spend limit balance) during the applicable monthly period. Additionally, the player would remain subject to the daily loss limit ($19 in this scenario) during the applicable day period.
Changes to Responsible Gaming Limits
Requests to decrease Responsible Gaming limits take effect immediately upon confirmation.
Where you have previously established a gaming limit, a request by you to relax or eliminate that limit may be implemented by BetUnited ‘s system after a mandatory cooling-off period of twenty-four (24) hours.
Although our customer service agents can direct players to information regarding how to set limits, our agents are not able to set, change or remove any limits on any limit selection, including increasing or decreasing the limit time or amount.
All Responsible Gaming limit activity, changes, confirmations, and enforcement actions are recorded and retained for compliance and audit purposes.
